Adeyfield School is a place of learning. The overall aim of our work is to maximise student potential. To this end we are continually seeking to raise standards of achievement.

At Adeyfield School we seek to work with our partners to raise standards of achievement by providing a high quality education with equality of opportunity for all.

The school motto of “Semper Quaerentes” (Ever Onwards) provides a summary of our determination to succeed. The School Mission Statement endorses this view of our purpose.

Adeyfield is an 11-18 coeducational school set in pleasant grounds in Hemel Hempstead. We are very proud of the progress made by our students and we are always prepared to welcome visitors to discuss the key aspects of our school.

The last three Ofsted inspections both described Adeyfield as a ‘good school’.

Features of our work praised in the Ofsted reports include the improving standards and progress of students, the quality of teaching, the extensive curriculum which allows all students to maximise their potential and the quality of relationships across the school which enable students to develop as young people.

Adeyfield is proud to be an ‘inclusive school’. We provide for students of all abilities and talents. Over the years many commendations have come our way. These include specialism in Business and Enterprise and more recently Applied Learning. We have also achieved Artsmark, Sportsmark, Investors in People, the Nace Challenge award recognising our work with more able pupils and the International School’s Award to reflect the many links the school enjoys with partner schools overseas. Other awards include the Hertfordshire Careers Education Quality Award and Healthy Schools.

As an 11-18 school we are proud of our sixth form and their achievements. Across the school there are a wide range of extra curricular activities including the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme and a range of after school subject activities.
